Covington wins negligence action
May 30, 2007Daniel D. Covington, represented the owner of a water pipeline which was contacted and damaged by a contractor approximately twenty times over an eleven-mile stretch of county road. After a full day of evidence and argument, the Court found the contractor negligent, and Dan’s clients were awarded judgment and damages for parts, labor, and water loss for all but two of the incidents.

Ryburn prevails on appeal
May 30, 2007Scott Ryburn, of Anderson & Byrd, LLP, won an appeal brought by the state on a question reserved in a criminal jury trial.
